The Main Lodge offers magnificent views of the plains and Lake Kariega from its terraced timber deck complete with bushveld pool for lazy summer days. The Bush Bar and floating pier is the perfect setting to enjoy a sundowner before Dinner ?a cordon bleu delight complemented by an extensive collection of excellent wines.

Covering about 6 000 hectares of land, Pumba Private Game Reserve is home to Africa?s Big Five and offers visitors the chance to experience the wonders of Africa ?from the graceful Giraffe to seldom seen Leopard, 22 species of Antelope and other small game. The 200 plush species of Bird will delight bird lovers.

Pumba Private Game Reserve’s Soul Spa is committed to the rejuvenation and soothing of body, mind and spirit. Inspirations for the scents and remedies used on guests are taken from fynbos, the desert and the ocean. Expert therapists are qualified to pamper Pumba guests with a host of therapies, including various massages, full body wraps, hot stone therapy, manicures, pedicures, facials and hydrotherapy. However, none of these is done in isolation, but therapists are cognizant of a holistic approach in all spheres. For this reason too, each package is tailored to suit the needs and symptoms of each person.

Guests that prefer complete intimacy and privacy can enjoy all of these soothing treats within the comfort of their own suite. All therapies need to be booked in advance.

The steam room and plunge pool are also available to guests of this esteemed safari lodge, providing the perfect end to a busy day spent exploring the Eastern Cape bushveld.

Gym

Guests of Pumba Private Game Reserve that do not want to neglect their fitness regime or that want to release some stress are welcome to make use of the well-equipped gymnasium. This gym is beautifully designed, boasting spectacular mosaics and 180 degrees of glass, allowing those inside to look out onto the bush, skies and trees for a modern, non-intrusive approach. Equipment includes various weights, bicycles, treadmills, a mini circuit, rowing machines and so on.

Perched alongside the gorgeous Kariega River, the Pumba Water Lodge Conference Centre combines an intimate venue with excellent facilities and gorgeous surrounds that are sure to inspire corporate minds. This venue can accommodate up to 20 delegates and boasts IT support, if necessary, as well as a private business office in which delegates can work privately.

Delegates are able to enjoy excellent gourmet meals, which are best savoured while watching the hippos in the lake or the antelope grazing. Accommodation is also available for 24 delegates in luxury chalets, each equipped with private plunge pools and outdoor showers.

Bush Lodge

The Msenge Bush Lodge has a capacity of 60 delegates and is characterised by its distinct African flavour coupled with top-notch technology. This is also the perfect venue for teambuilding as it includes game drives to and from the conference venue, as well as an authentic African boma (traditional meeting place) in which certain teambuilding tasks can be fulfilled or delicious meals can be enjoyed.

The latest technology and IT support means that delegates are always assured of the highest standards of communication.

This lodge also boasts a spa and gym, as well as accommodation for up to 22 delegates in luxury chalets, each with their own private plunge pool.
