DescriptionSet between the hills and riverbank of Magaliesburg, The Rose Well offers a deeply relaxing experience to adults in need of some pampering. The guesthouse comprise of six en-suite bedrooms with private garden entrances and undercover parking. Each room has got a queen-sized bed, indoor as well as outdoor seating area, tea/coffee tray and color TV with SABC1,2,3 and eTV. On the premises is a cold water swimming pool, indoor heated spa pool, mineral therapy ponds, outdoor excercise lapa with a pool table, and a residents lounge with magazines, books, board games, chess table, and fruit. Breakfast and dinners are available and the spa offers a range of treatments, of which a few are: massages (your choice of hot stone therapy, swedish massage, aromatherapy or manual lymph drainage), facial treatments, hydro-treatments (body wraps incorporating the custom-designed vichy shower, and jet-bath foam treatments), manicures and pedicures. The Rose Well Guesthouse dining room is at the fully licensed Kumandine Spa Café. There is no need to go hungry because you are at a spa. Everyone should eat like a king at breakfast to be set up to face the day. Along with fruit juice, tea and coffee, a Kumandine 'Lodge Breakfast' includes the traditional hot English breakfast (Eggs, bacon, sausages, etc) as well as a healthy range of fruits, yoghurt, cereal and home-baked goodies of the day. Fruit is available all day and dinner always includes salads and/or vegetables with the meat dishes.
Make sure that we know about your food allergies and aversions! We do not prepare halaal or kosher foods, but do have fish and chicken and offer alternatives to pork, as well as dishes that are low in sodium, fat and sugar for diabetics. Winter dinner menus also feature soups and baked puddings.
The dining room is usually set up for couples with candles on the tables at dinner time, but small groups of up to six can be accommodated by prior arrangement.

Midweek: Sunday to Thursday: 6:00pm - 7:00pm - kitchen closes at 6:45pm
Weekend: Friday, Saturday & Public Holidays: 6:30pm - 8:30pm - kitchen closes at 8:00pm

Sunday - Thursday (excl public holidays) offers a two-course dinner served at 18:00, and the restaurant closes at 19:00. Over weekends we offer a three-course dinner served at 18:30 and the restaurant closes at 20:30. Facilities include various swimming pools, excercise equipment and intelectual entertainment (books, board games, etc). All guest also have access to the health spa on the premises for massages, facials, hydro-treatments and many more. |
